So the way I read it, Sublime and Arkea didnt evlve naturally. It seemed to me to be implying the virus they used for translation was one of the two and that they messed around with the virus as tools and thats when they evolved to sublime and Arkea. If I am understanding correctly then Threshold created Sublime and Arkea.

This is the same ill-logic that says that Rachel's romance with Kurt was incestuous*! And the refutation is the same! Rachel canonically comes from Marvel-DOFP, a distinctly DIFFERENT timeline than Marvel-616, where history happened differently so that the Ahab in her home reality is NOT THE SAME man as the Rory Campbell in this reality. In any case , Rory Campbell was still a normal human , a young male in his 20's , while Ahab was already a cyborg who was either middle-aged or a senior citizen

* Firstly, they're not biologically-related at all , in either Marvel-616 or Marvel-DOFP. Secondly, the Kurt who helped raised her is NOT the same person who became her teammate and later paramour
