Ed Brisson’s just mentioned he has two announcements coming today, wonder if one of those is him returning to the X-office (Alpha Flight seems the more likely of the three titles we know are coming; unless Spurrier’s not writing Nightcrawler-led Uncanny Spider-Man [if that’s even the premise of that book]).

Would def not be my first preference for a surprise return to the office. Though a lot of other runs get shit, feel like his New Mutants run might be the weakest of the era for me.

One of Brisson's announcements will be a Knight Terror's tie in. Given he is Canadian it would be logical in the current comic book reality that he is writing the Canadian book (i.e., Alpha Flight).

I enjoyed Brisson's work on Cyclops, Cable and X-Force.

Brisson has good and bad moments. I liked his NextGen minisseries, Old Man Logan, Uncanny X-men Annual and Extermination (he took the O5 back to the past, he'll always deserve praise for that lol). But his New Mutants run was indeed very subpar.

I thought Brisson's New Mutants was terribly underwhelming... but everything else he did for the X-office was actually pretty good so I wouldn't mind having him back.
