Yeah the shape of the cave is very similar to what we see on the Mutant First Strike cover.

Yup there are clear similarities and artists do render things differently. Underground caves aren't uniform throughout themselves either.

The solicit mentions a New England town so it could be a different location, it's just interesting that we have Bishop exploring the underground in two books.

This suggestion is plausible. The story is set in a small New England town, though. Does anyone else think the graphic looks like a reptile's eye?

I think people think they look the same due to the coloring, but if you look closer, you'll notice the first strike cave is made of garbage while the war college caves are natural.

Bringing this infamous graphic from Immortal X-Men back on these boards again, but so far after Judgment Day we have already gotten "Empire of the Red Diamond" and "The Storm System", "Cassandra Supernova" and with White Sword coming back in Red I wouldn't be surprised if that leads to "The Broken Sword". With FoX quickly approaching I wonder if we can expect "The Nimrod Extinction Event" as well as "A New Krakoa" as we pretty much know that Krakoa will rise from the damages that were caused by Orchis

i mean if most of the things on this page are happening then why not at least take it somewhat seriously like its, not a stretch to think that something that was included in the book has the possibility of mattering in the story later on. Like I'm not saying its for sure, literally just speculation lol
