I did not make the connection before that THIS is Carlos Gomez!!!

He did these a few years back and it makes me so happy when the creator is an actual fan of the characters they'll be working on.

I thought his art in X-Terminators was solid and fun.

So this is a mini and takes place prior to Fall of X. Fall of X happens to coincide with the timeframe just prior to the XTAS relaunch which is ... interesting.

I wonder if Stephanie Phillips approached Marvel about writing this or if they were looking to relaunch this title and she won the pitch.

Super excited about this series!! I can't wait to see Rogue and Gambit actually doing something in the Krakoan era and current comics! Hopefully it will be fun and important to the overall line.

Also correct me if I’m wrong, but the last time we seen Lady Deathstrike, if this I is her and not Monet, Wolverine (Laura) saved her on the Orchis Space Station in Duggan's X-men run I believe? Same issue Rogue went sonic boom and had that quick conversation with destiny. Maybe that plot continues here.

Well I’m definitely going to buy two copies of each gotta boost these numbers so we keep getting more.

Also looking forward to the X-23 book as well. Heck I’m even going to take a peek at the Betsy book as well. Seems I’m a bit more interested in the minis than the main line atm.

Thanks for the reminder about Deathstrike's recent appearance where Rogue manhandled the sound barrier. Interesting indeed if that is Deathstrike on the cover and it'd be another possible link to her time in X-Men.
