Instead of labeling as public menace, Spider-Man actually accepted and supported by press since the beginning of his career.

Oh, you mean the armored multibillionaire A/U Spider-Man from the TAS finale? Yeah, that was a great twist --- the luckiest Spider-Man/Peter Parker of them all, which made him reckless and arrogant, and actually less skilled compared to the other Spider-Men/Peter Parkers because he couldn't even comprehend the idea of a universe where things weren't constantly going his way. Of course, he still had a living Uncle Ben, which was what ultimately saved the day (and reality itself) from Spider-Carnage.

Also, in the Raimi movies, by the time of the third movie, while Daily Bugle still hated Spider-Man, he was loved by most of New York to the point where they gave him the key to the city.

Andrew's version was also cheered on by New Yorkers in the second movie.

While the city technically didn't love these two Spider-Men since the beginning of their career, they were more neutral on them than in the comics.

Well he was a very effective hero. He just suffered from over confidence. However... that level of confidence served him well in HIS universe.

I think I already posted this idea before, but it was deleted.

Anyway, my idea is based on several past covers:

A world where Mary Jane Watson was bitten by the radioactive spider and Peter Parker is just a regular guy.

    Oh, yeah, true enough.

Yes. Yes, it did. Alas, he wasn't in his universe anymore, and not seeming to care about that jeopardized the mission by getting himself and one other Spider-Man/Peter Parker (the one with Doc Ock's tentacles) knocked out of the fight to save existence.

I think a lot of us have said we want to see that (maybe not on this thread).

Someone mentioned it before on this thread, but...
Peter and Mary Jane don't accept Mephisto's deal.
Specifying: what if while they're on the run from Tony / Norman they team up with Felicia, and maybe some other characters, to engage in a Leverage / Hustle enterprise where they go after corporate miscreants and other wrongdoers that the law can't touch. MJ is of course the face. Add Quentin Beck's Mysterio as the token amoral teammate (he's happy as long he's pulling off spectacular illusions).

Later: we open with memories of Peter's identity erased by Doctor Strange. MJ and Peter are getting divorced. MJ is working for Norman as a PA.
Spoiler: they're not intending to actually get divorced at all: MJ is spying on Norman for the Avengers, and she and Peter can't touch in case Daken smells Spider-man on her.

What if Kaine was the real Peter Parker the entire time.

There would have to be another explanation for his physical deformities, since those were caused due to the clone degeneration process.

What if Peter stopped the burgular and remained in the entertainment industry? This was actually a What If from back in the day but it was a one-shot where Peter's rogues still formed and tried to go after him and Daredevil, who was his bodyguard, died protecting him.

An expanded story where the "Where Great Power Comes Great Responsibility" moral never set in would be interesting.

There was a story in one Spider-Man comic where a parallel universe was briefly shown where Peter became a world famous comedian and grew into a narcissist distant from people due to the fame. He was bullying Flash Thompson, who was working under him. Both his aunt and uncle were alive, but he did not care for them. And he was not married to either Gwen or MJ, I think. This was shown in the Peter Parker: Spider-Man 1999 annual.

House of M Spider-Man mini also had a similiar idea, where Spider-Man was a famous movie star.

For a beautiful few couple of months, the Spider titles were the various Scarlet Spider titles, Green Goblin, and New Warriors.

What if it was STILL that way? What if that era had never ended?

You were Spider-Man then. You and Peter had agreed on it. But he came back right when you started feeling comfortable.
You know what it means when he comes back

What if Doc Ock fully removed Peter as Spider-man? Firdt issue can be goblin nation without peter, the rest of the miniseries can show what the end result of Otto’s character evolution would be
