I got a couple of those Scary Stories to tell in the Dark books. The ones that had the cheesy endings. Like the hook on the car door, the calls are coming from inside the house. That kind of thing.

I doubt it happens, since you never know who knows your language. People do what all people do, wait until they are away from the person and then talk trash.

My grandmother and great aunt used to speak French around my father when he was courting my mother. According to my mother much of what they said was less than complimentary. This was in the late 1950's. I'm confident it was done elsewhere as well.

I doubt it happens, since you never know who knows your language. People do what all people do, wait until they are away from the person and then talk trash.

Not really. But with democracy in this country literally hanging by a thread while a dangerously sociopathic grifter who incited a near insurrection four years ago is the Republican candidate for president, the antics of a smarmy rapper turned smarmy entrepreneur doesn't move the needle even a little bit. At least not in my book. If you want to create a thread about Diddy, or whatever the hell he calls himself these days, knock yourself out.
