Depends on how nice the ghost, finally going up or down as the life they lived merited. Or maybe they wind up like Dickens' ghosts miserably adjacent to the world they can't effect.

I think she's still in limbo somewhere, hoping for another chance at a series . . .

I hope you're eating all of you because if you don't you won't get dessert.

18 count large eggs are now almost $11. I'm going to have to get a second job to pay the bills if things keep going up.

BTW, why are eggs going up and not chicken? Are they feeding us diseased chickens?

Egg laying chickens are a different breed than meat producing chickens. The meat producing breed can still be processed and sold after being killed to prevent the spread of bird flu, but it takes time for new egg layers to age and produce new eggs.

Also, eggs are more perishable. Food chickens are like a crop; harvested in batches and refrigerated or frozen. Takes a while for the inventory to deplete enough to hit the consumer. The futures price is a different matter.

Because eggs spoil so much faster, any shortage hits the market more immediately.

Today would have been Marcel Marceau's 100th Birthday.

When he died back in 2007, did they have a moment of silence for him?

Now, does cold pizza taste better than warm Pizza Rolls?

When the skin on your hands and feet wrinkle after you’ve been in the tub or swimming a while, it’s your body’s way of helping you get a better grip under slippery conditions.

I’ve never been a fan of cold pizza. If I have leftovers, they go right in the microwave, same with pizza rolls.

So I rewatched The Return of the King the other day and saw a mistake I can't now unsee. It's in the Charge of the Rohirim scene. Here's a hint---none of the Rohirim are actually planning on fighting, judging from what they're doing during that charge...or rather, what they're NOT doing. Watch the scene and see if you can figure out what they did wrong. It's pretty big, but also pretty understandable from a practical standpoint.

    That was very temporary.

Dairy prices here in Germany have also gone back to what they were before Russia's invasion.
