Hey, this was officially announced, after knowing about it for months! So, this is the final season. I guess this couldn't last forever, but I hope they pull out some meaty material for the finale.

I was not expecting a focus on The Muscle, but I'll allow it. It feels fitting since his debut issue is also Jordan Gibson's debut issue as well. Plus, it gives them a good chance to flesh out the character. I wonder who the mob lady is there.

Curious to see where Dini and Burnett are gonna go with this final season. Curious who the lady talking to Black Mask, Rupert Throne and Penguin is.

I've seen speculation it's Sofia Falcone.

I could see if they followed the implication from the Mayor Mayhem arc that the Falcones were taken down and made irrelevant right before B:TAS took place and Sofia wanting to restore her family's legacy. Though if true, she's way too small and skinny to be Sofia.

Maybe they're basing her off how she was in the Gotham TV show.

Ugh, I hope not. One of the blandest antagonists in that series.

On that thought, maybe that's supposed to be Fish Mooney? She has the skin tone and the hair. Or maybe it's also an OC for the comic.

Well, Crystal Reed was easier on the eyes .

She looks more Italian tan than black to me, but I guess we'll see. Also would not be the first time they've come up with an OC.

Not the familial connection I was expecting with that lady! Fierce mugshot too!

Always interesting to see faith and Superheroes mixed in.

Hopefully this is a strong start to the final season.

    That is so freakin' pretty.

I've really liked their twists on Batman lore that wasn't presented in the original series. Gave it a real "what's old is new again" quality to them.

Honestly I've preferred when they've done their own thing with the existing DCAU lore or their Bat-verse instead of trying to re-incorporate stuff from the comics into the DCAU setting because most of it felt very half-baked (not helped by the pacing of the stories).

So I'm glad to see more of the former going into season 3.

Fair enough. I honestly just loved how they reworked Azrael, the Court of Owls, Deathstroke, Jason Todd, etc. and I'm glad these little successes gave us a third season of this series, regardless of the direction it goes.

I think out of all of them Deathstroke was probably handled the best.

Azrael and the Court just didn't get enough room to breathe in my opinion.

Jason was basically just bare bones Under the Red Hood, which I get, but I don't think worked to the stories favor.
