I'm not sure, speed could be similar, maybe boosted for Sonic with the Emerald but IIRC he only showed strength boost feats when having the Emerald. But just the strength boost's manhandling of Robotnik's top robot makes me think Adam would at least know he's in a fight here.

Super sonic was way more impressive. The math for blocking that robot punch is insane.
