The past few months have gifted us with two new shows that are connected to some big franchises: Rings of Power, a prequel to The Lord of the Rings, and House of the Dragon, a prequel to Game of Thrones. Both have just finished their seasons and there has been some huge debates over which show is better. Obviously, the choice is based on one's preferences, but the question remains: which show is better?

I liked The Rings of Power a lot, didn't even try House of Dragon, too soon after GoT to miss it, plus I never cared that much for history of that World, I would probably watch a spinoff set after the events of GoT.
