Alan and Alexandra on Josie and the Pussycats.

I know he was really into Josie but something tells me that skunk-hair would've rocked his world.

Regarding Uhura, Star Trek V did have that weird thing with Scotty, but it was pretty much dropped by Star Trek VI. I think it's brought up in the old DC comics a few times (Which take place between V and VI).

I always thought that Uhura and Scotty would make a nice couple.

Better than those that immediately began shipping her with Goku. And I mean even before she and Goku even interacted, anime OR manga.

I've been reading some Trek novels and comics lately that seem to hint at a deeper friendship. The YEAR FIVE comics by IDW (One of the better attempts IMO at addressing the TOS/TMP gap) and also the novel LIVING MEMORY, where Uhura and Scotty are assigned to another ship during the TMP/TWOK gap and remember how NOMAD messed them up.

Gundam did do some subtle hints with Amuro and Sayla which was elaborated on in the novel adaptations, but never really resolved that as Sayla rarely appeared in the sequels and Amuro was given new love interests with Beltorchika and Chan.

Funny thing is the romance that probably gets the most focus out of all the characters apart from the not quite romantic but somewhat more spiritual Amuro/Char/Lalah triangle is the ship's helmsman Mirai, who falls in love with Bright but has a fiancée in the colonies and also she has a brief fling with Sleggar Law. Of course the family she has with Bright is it's own story...

Gundam Wing did dance around Trowa and Quatre a bit, but I think the only really fleshed out romance on the show was pretty much Noin/Zechs. Heero and Relena sort of have something but it's a bit odd.

Oops! If you're referring to the time when Daniel became her "pilot" during the HeadMasters Saga, then I'm assuming that qualifies (LOL):

So... you're saying Daniel gave Arcee head?

Honestly, I thought Emily had much better chemistry with Stephen than Kaity did, though I think that was down to the writing of the character of Laurel in the early seasons. I liked the dynamic Earth-2 Laurel had with Oliver in seasons 7/8.

Always was a fan of Buffy and Xander but by the time I got into the show, the run was nearing its end so I pretty much knew it wasn't happening thus there wasn't much room to be disappointed as I watched.

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”
