I'd probably have voted for Jason Todd to live.
Me too. That whole business was crass as hell.

I would have voted for him to live too. I think the whole vote for a teenager to die thing was as you said crass as Hell. And the fact that they brought him back took what was a news making gimmick and just wiped it out like it didnt matter.

I was at university when this released and I did call and vote to kill Jason Todd. I thought he was a useless, boring, derivative, and poorly conceived and executed the comic and the mythos would be better off without, so I voted to kill him. I still think bringing him back was a terrible mistake and he worked much better dead as a symbol of the risk being in Bruce's life entails tan he ever did as a character in a story. But others like him, so hey, glad he's there for them.

    I Go Pogo

The comic often encouraged people to go out and vote, but some people would write in Pogo in actual elections which, of course, greatly disappointed Walt Kelly.

    Let your voice be heard
    Let's make a difference
Exercise your rights and validate your existence
    You wanna cast your ballot-then
    March to the polls
See we have to come together
If we wanna reach our goals
If you're over 18 you can do it for me
    Doesn't cost you any money
You can do it for free
    It's important that we choose
    Who's the next president
So I can know Where my momma's tax money's spent
Healthcare, jobs, the roads our economy
    Vote and be counted
    That's what we call Democracy
City or ya state ya district or any section
    Don't take it for granted
Let's vote in the next Election

I couldnt stand him. I think he is the worst Robin and Not overly thrilled on him as The Red Hood. But I thought the vote thing was a gimmick. I think even if people had voted to keep him they just would have killed him off a bit later. And like I said the fact they brought him back killed the gimmick.

I had to double check and make sure Iron Maiden hadn't posted this one, but I am safe.

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
