    So now we have a few more revelations:

    The Captain Krakoa story in the FCBD issue is separate from the one about the new Unity team.

    Alex has left the X-Men, teaming up with Maddie (Dark Web spoilers) spoilers:
    as part of an embassy to Limbo
    end of spoilers

    There's a new character in the previews for the FCBD issue from the Captain Krakoa portion who's face is obscured...

    After the conclusion of Dark Web I have no idea who this Captain Krakoa could be with Alex now doing demon diplomacy. It's interesting that Cap is not on the new roster of Avengers, although that could change. But I don't think they'd make him Captain Krakoa and drop, even temporarily, his popular Captain America brand. Plus he has that Cold War event that starts in April.

    The only other character that's even a remote possibility in my mind is Brian Braddock, as a show of unity between humanity and mutants, and a big middle finger to Britain if they continue to reject his sister. Considering his whole family are mutants I could see him donning the helmet. Disclaimer: I don't think I want this for him, I just think it's a possibility.

    That's true although I guess given the fact that Gerry Duggan is writing both tales and Captain Krakoa is featured on the cover alongside a group of Avengers and X-Men, we all made the connection there.

    I guess they could still be separate things and the cover just a cover... but with Duggan writing both and with Alex seemingly written out of adjectiveless, it's hard not to connect all those dots!

    Turns out it's fuckin none of them since Captain Krakoa is actually the villain of Uncanny Avengers, staging a bunch of false flag attacks
