Every time I try to upload an avatar, it always comes out a good bit blurrier and fuzzier than the original image, especially if I scale it to 120x120. How exactly do others on this forum get their avatars to look as sharp and clean as they are?

Making avatar look clear and sharp

How do you upload avatar. I went into my profile. Clicked on my empty picture image, and didn't see an option?
