Uncanny Avengers: Who Would You Want On A New Team?

I prefer working with parameters. Since the original UA team had 9 members:
Havok, Rogue, Sunfire and Wolverine for the X-side.
Thor, Wasp, Cap, Wonder Man and Wanda for the Avenger side.

I'll restrict myself to that model.

I think the characters selected provide a strong diversity, both in their aesthetic, power sets, and unique perspectives and I tried to limit my choices to folks who don't have active on-panel "home books" currently (that I am aware of)
Many have worked together before. Some are close friends (Monet & Siryn). Some are more than friends (Speed & Prodigy). Some have familial ties (Vision & Speed). Some are simply on each other's radar from past brief encounters (Ant Man & Prodigy). Some have unique ties to the divine (Hercules & Siryn)
They've a wide range of skills and proficiencies beyond their powers that would make for interesting and varying levels of cohesion, cooperation, or even conflict.

While some of these are not my favorites ever, I do appreciate the thought that went into it. None of the characters specifically outshine anyone else. (Hercules may be stronger and tougher than Monet, for instance, but she's the team telepath, as well!) Bonus points for including what may be the sole X-Venger couple, in Prodigy and Speed, and avoiding the obvious trope of using mutants who've been Avengers (something I would tend to lean towards, making a 'mutant Avengers' with Justice, Firestar, Beast, Scarlet Witch*, Quicksilver*, etc.).
*The latter two having been mutants for most of their history, even if they aren't this week...

With Captain America making semi regular appearances for mission talk and PR, and Gambit making guest appearances of course for spice. I feel like Dazzer, Northstar, and Sunspot are powerhouse mutants that get underused. They could really show their power prowess with some earth shattering Avenger threats and let loose with some cool feats.

I also miss the burgeoning friendship between Jan and Rogue from UA vol 3 and No Surrender

Ummm....my ideal take nowadays would be something like this:

- Namor (co-leader)
- She-Hulk
- Wiccan
- Miles Morales

- Storm (co-leader)
- Captain Britain Betsy
- X-23
- Nightcrawler

I think this would be a fun team with a lot of strong personalities and diverse power sets.

Oh I completely forgot about Namor! If there's a character that's absolutely in between the Avengers and the X-Men, it's hi. Especially now that he's going to be all the rage thanks to BP2, it would be fun to have him headline an eclectic group like the Unity Squad is no doubt going to be.

Love this and would literally pick it up in an instant. Like that 2/4 mutant members have served on Avengers teams but they’re not the usual suspects of Logan and Beast. It’d be fun to see Monica in a leadership role again, especially when dealing with the strong personalities on this team.

Right?! Imagine Synch using Dazzler and Captain America's powers simultaneously to throw a hard-light rainbow shield, with an amazing artist.
