"I love mankind...it's people I can't stand!!"
- Charles Schultz.
Just saw Jeremy Adams tweeting about this.
Rest in Peace, Legend.
DC: Dick Grayson, Wally West, Donna Troy, Yara Flor, Titans
Some of my favorite Mangas: One Piece, Slam Dunk, Fullmetal Alchemist, HunterXHunter, Vinland Saga, Monster, Berserk, Vagabond.
Current reading: Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Spy X Family, Kaiju Nº8, Blue Lock, Dandadan.
I...I...I just don't know what to say.
This is legitimately gutting for me. A man who defined a character, a character that defined me in many ways, and carried the spirit of the character through so much...such a kind, compassionate, soul who has gone through so much before he finally achieved the legendary status he deserved.
RIP Kevin Conroy. You were Vengeance. You were the Night. You were Batman. But you were also yourself.
The only voice of Batman and Bruce Wayne to me (particularly his earlier BTAS voices). I deeply suspect he could have physically played Batman in 89 (if Hollywood wasn't so big name driven at that time (and all times)).
Mask of the Phantasm....THE BEST BATMAN FILM (live action, animated, etc).
RIP
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft
Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”
RIP. Man defined Batman for a generation, hell more than one generation given how he voiced the character in multiple animations/video games. I’m sad we won’t get more autobiographical stories from him given how great that little comic he wrote was.
For when my rants on the forums just aren’t enough: https://thevindicativevordan.tumblr.com/
Numb. Absolutely numb by this news. I literally can’t read any Batman comic without hearing his voice, Kevin Conroy is the definitive Batman to me regardless of medium. Farewell old friend.
T'Challa
A.K.A. The Black Panther
King of Wakanda
King of the Dead and The Champion of Bast
Two-Time Time Magazine "Person Of The Year"
Six-Time People Magazine "Sexiest Man Alive"
This is incredibly saddening especially if you read his autobiography story in DC pride this year. He will be missed.

"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
Words to live by.
R.I.P Conroy.
Condolences to his friends and family.
Sad, sad news. Condolences to his family and friends.
Conroy as Batman is as iconic as Reeve's Superman or Downy's Iron Man; it's hard to imagine the character without somehow associating it with the actor, at least on some level. I doubt I'll ever *not* hear Conroy's voice when reading Batman. Hell of a loss for the community, but far more of one for those who knew and loved him.
Wishing them all the best in this difficult time.
"We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another, as if we were one single tribe."
~ Black Panther.
This one hurts. I will always hear Conroy's voice when I read Batman. Rest in power Mr. Conroy.

Comic fans get the comics their buying habits deserve.

Very sad news here. I'm in shock right now and it's really hard to believe. I grew up watching the Batman animated series. He really is Batman's voice. So many wonderful people is just leaving this Earth is just depressing. I'm depressed now
R.I.P
Just...don't know what to say.
Maybe I can say that Kevin Conroy, and his work on BTAS, is the reason why I'm even here on a forum about superhero comic-books among other hardcore fans of the medium.
I love Christian Bale. And Michael Keaton. And Robert Pattison. But the voice of Batman that I'll always hear in my head is Kevin Conroy's.
Feeling numb.
