Really? While I personally don’t like some of the direction, it seems like books are clearly wrapping up their plot threads or bringing in the big Hickman plots (Dominions, phalanx, etc.) in preparation for Fall of X this summer.

Maybe directionless is the wrong word. Legion of X looks like it's addressing the Phalanx stuff, but it doesn't all feel very cohesive or exciting. I'm not the biggest fan of the Krakoa era, but usually I at least have some interest looking at all the solicits, vene for the books I'm not reading. I haven't had that in a few months. Here's hoping Fall of X gives the line a boost.
