I wonder if they plan on using "Spider Society" for all their Spider-Verse shows.
sounds awful
Sounds like they're staying true to her origins if the description is anything to go by.
Dunno if Spider-Man himself will appear or not (leaning towards probably not), but if he does then I pray that they don't address the whole..."mechanic" between the two.Based on characters created by Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos, Silk: Spider Society is inspired by the Marvel comics and follows Cindy Moon, a Korean-American woman bitten by the same spider that bit Peter Parker, as she escapes imprisonment and searches for her missing family on her way to becoming the superhero known as Silk.
Doubt it. What's probably happening is they're merging Silk's mythos with Arana's. The Spider Society is part of Anya's backstory. It does make sense, as Ezekiel Sims is part of the Spider Society, and he's the one who imprisoned Cindy.

And let's not forget that in the finale of her ongoing by Robbie Thompson, she was confronted by the new leader of (possibly a splinter faction of) the Spider Society, Tamara Pearson, who wanted to strip Silk of her powers and take them for herself, feeling that Cindy was unworthy of having been "chosen" by the Spider-Totem.
The spider is always on the hunt.
I like Silk. So I will give this a go.
This Post Contains No Artificial Intelligence. It Contains No Human Intelligence Either.
Looks like Angela Kang is involved. She's perhaps best known for WALKING DEAD-she's been running the show since the end of the "All out war" arc.
Wonder if they'll bring back Tiffany Espensen, who was Cindy in HOMECOMING.
