Now that I think about it, isn't this similar to the Penguin One Bad Day one-shot?

Also King reminding people about Killing Time (so it wasn't just killing time as a series).

Heh after everyone in the first issue being **** pants scared of Penguin, here we have Help showing no fear against him.

Makes sense, he is a professional after all.

Super Alfred knows that he's King's pet OC, just as the FBI agent knew she was a red shirt. Because that's meta, sigh...

Thats not a meta thing, its that Help isn't a regular guy.

All the people that cowered against Penguin in the prior issue are civilian's and average joes, Help is a rogue and someone within Penguin's field of business.

This second issue is really solid. Finally I can reconcile with Tom King after so long!
I have skipped his Killing Time cause I've had enough of his Batman, so this is my first encounter with The Help.
Great characterization of both main characters. There is so much in this issue I think i have to read it twice or more to catch it all.
How could this be written by the same man who wrote Batman? Welcome back Tom!

That's pretty much how his Batman run was, so...
"Has Sariel summoned you here, Azrael? Have you come to witness the miracle of your brethren arriving on Earth?"

"I WILL MIX THE ASHES OF YOUR BONES WITH SALT AND USE THEM TO ENSURE THE EARTH THE TEMPLARS TILLED NEVER BEARS FRUIT AGAIN!"

"*sigh* I hoped it was for the miracle."

Dan Watters' Azrael was incredible, a constant delight and perhaps too good for this world (but not the Forth). For the love of St. Dumas, DC, give us more!!!

Difference is that here it's working very nice, I can't say the same for his Batman run.

The only question is, do the Force of July get screwed, or super duper screwed?
