Yeah, we’re looking at similar weather for Turkey Day.

It got down to 19 degrees tonight but we also expect a warm Thanksgiving. I do recall a Christmas Day though when I was a kid that was around 60 degrees and we didn't even need coats that day. But that was extremely rare for the Great Lakes region.

Most of California is a desert naturally, we only exist as we do today thanks to importing water from elsewhere. Or stealing it, depending on your point of view.

Something call a “bomb cyclone” hit California. Heavy winds, rain, and flooding.

Sigh, depends on where you are in that state, some places get grey and a bit damp, and that's the entire thing.

On Christmas Day, temps here in Philadelphia struggled to crack 20, and it certainly felt colder. Yesterday, a week and a half later, we reached 64. Talk about extremes.

The weather has been unusual too in France for weeks, unusually mild for a winter.

And quite sunny in the South-West: the river is quite low nearby. A dry winter. When I arrived in this area, it rained almost every day this time of the year…

It was like that here in Cincy. We had -8 as a high then 8 days later were at 61 and all the snow we got was gone.

Pretty much the same here in Northern NJ. Lately, it is warm enough to have plenty of rain and fog. Starting to feel more like Seattle than NJ.

It's January 9, and people with allergies are being informed that hazelnut and alder tree pollen is already out there. About 6 weeks early.

Yeah, though I'm surprised that California had a tornado recently. Seems like the places that normally et Tornadoes are getting them even worse, and the places that rarely or never et them are starting to.
