I'm not even a Garth fan and I feel bad for him.

Its pretty sad how he's blatantly being shafted just to prop up Jackson to the point the entire Brandon Thomas/Chuck Brown run (Aquaman The Becoming, Black Manta, and Aquamen) was pretty much all about Jackson and by extension everything related to him like his father.

I actually liked the idea of Mera as Queen of Atlantis, with her hubby relegated to Queen's consort.
It opened up a lot of story avenues which unfortunately never happened.
