Top Ten Favorite Anime of All Time

I'm curious fellow weebs, what are your top ten favorite Anime series of all time?


My List


1.) Afro Samurai (the first movie a bit more so than the sequel but I rank both as number 1 collectively)

2.) Dragonball Z

3.) Cowboy Bebop

4.) Sailor Moon (more so for the manga than 1990s' anime if I'm honest)

5.) Black Lagon

6.) Overlord

7.) Re:Zero

8.) Konosuba

9.) The Devil Is A Part-Timer

10.) Saga of Tanya the Evil


Numbers 6 - 8 I could easily reverse the order as all three series rank almost equally in my mind but for different reasons - e.g. comedy versus drama.


Date A Live I would have ranked 10 or even 9 until the previous two seasons. They reduced one interesting character to just another member of Shido's ever-growing harem and also completely dropped two groups of supporting characters alongside all their secondary storylines.

LOL! I'll always be a fan of Racer X & everyone else. But damn, the pacing for several episodes can be quite a chore...
