Just as Andor was an entryway into showing a particular aspect of the Rebel Alliance, I am most interested in seeing that shady part of the criminal underworld - the bounty hunters, spice runners, Crimson Dawn, etc. and how they co-existed with the Empire. Whether it's Lando or Han. Although if they go with Han, I'd want to see a lot more development for Chewie.

In the comics Crimson Dawn and the Empire are sort of in a bit of a war at this point-it's actually part of the current lead-up to Jedi, as Crimson Dawn agents who were inside the Empire have let the Rebels know about Death Star II, although it's unclear where the Bothans come in, although in film dialogue they provide it's location and the Emperor's visit, it's never said that they discovered the station's existence in the first place (and of course the Emperor let them have it regardless).

Funny thing is the Bothans have barely been used in Disney canon at all while they were a HUGE part of the original post-ROTJ EU, as helping to defeat the Empire gave them massive political power in the New Republic. Maybe the Bothan spy group could be a faction of Crimson Dawn?
