Default So...the first mcu X-men picture will be 2026

The first Namor mcu is also 2026, I guess all mutants stuff start that yr, except for deadpool 3 of course, which will be earlier.

    Can you wait that long?

Will the public be sick of supe stuff by then?

I'm fine waiting that long if that's the case. We'll get all kinds of teases, cast info, etc. at least a year before any release.

Source? Plausible, but not even worth discussing without substance.

That "leak" is obviously fake as it didn't list What If season 2 but had season 3 on it.

I do wonder what the MCU will look like when the x-men finally appear. My prediction is in 3-6 years.

When Disney bought Fox in 2019 we were supposed to wait till 2022-23. I don't understand why they put out awful movies and tv series of b c d listers and not start the production of their biggest asset X-MEN. We have waited long enough.

I told everyone who was so happy that Disney bought Fox and the X-men were now owned by Marvel it’s gonna be a long time before you see them.

The reasons we have to wait is 3fold
    1. Marvel already has tons of projects to work on and X-men can’t be the thing they focus on solely. X-men will get less attention than another studio who has enough time to make X-men stuff 24/7
    2. You need to time to plot out the story
    3. Contract stuff makes it so they can’t cast new characters until the contracts from Fox expire. That’s why we are seeing Fox characters coming back because they are the only ones who they can fully use right now
    3.

I think they’re going to start sneaking them in via cameos in other projects. Kind of feels like they might go that route. Then in Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars we’ll get some variant X-men from the FOX-verse (or perhaps just the FOX actors playing variants from some other reality entirely, either way), plus some of the handful of MCU mutants they’ve introduced. And then, yeah, post Secret Wars we’ll have a full on “Mutant Saga” with the rebooted MCU X-men. That’s my prediction anyway.

With the right movie everyone is an a lister. I think this was proven back in 2014 with the first GOTG movie. It's less about the assets and more about the MCU brand itself.

This is a false rumor that has been debunked.

    Enh!
That's really too far in the future (and with absolutely no pertinent info) for me to start feeling any kind of way. Get back to me in late 2024 and with some concrete news.
