Ever since early word was that Gunn wanted a "Younger" Superman, I've got an eager curiosity to see the Superman:Year One (or whatever) outfit used in live action.

There’s a DCEU elimination game going on over on Reddit. It’s about half way done and honestly I’m Surprised BVS made it so far. I think the 8 films left are the decent to good ones of the universe. FYI just in case yall wanna vote on the poll
Done with DC. Can't handle the constant whiplash! Time to go on a hiatus!

A surprisingly fair vote. Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Suicide Squad, Blue Beetle (should it be included since Gunn said it’s part of his DCU?), Shazam, BoP, MoS, and ZS Justice League remain. Which seems about right in my often flawed opinion.

BoP should probably be eliminated next.

Fascinating that Aquaman 2 won't lose much money, there even still is a path to it breaking even. And thats when WB had given up on it before the release.

It has pretty dismal domestic numbers. Is it because it’s doing well in China?

WB is full of amateurs that are paid as professionals. They wouldn't be rebooting their universe if it wasn't so.
If they did some marketing this movie could have done well. It's not as bad as some say, it has lots of flaws, but DCEU has seen much worse.

Yeah, seems to be performing pretty well there. At the global box office Aquaman 2 is already over 50 million ahead of The Marvels lifetime haul, and could conceivably end up doing better than The Flash.

    The DCU Architects

From left to right, there's Chantal Nong Vo (Vice President of Production; The Suicide Squad producer), Jeremy Slater (Moon Knight Head Writer), Christina Hodson (Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey, The Flash writer), Drew Goddard (Daredevil writer), Christal Henry (Waller co-showrunner), James Gunn (DC Studios' co-CEO), Tom King (DC Comics writer), Galen Vaisman (Vice President of Creative Development; The Flash producer), and Peter Safran (DC Studios' co-CEO).

Very concerning that the person who wrote Flash is still involved with the DCU. BoP wasn’t as terrible, but their Cassandra Cain is unforgivable.
The only reason he won’t cast his wife on a bigger role is that the Peacemaker show is supposed to be canon to the DCU (or at least S2). But I’m sure he’ll hire some more relatives.

Same. We’ll see if this team will actually be successful.

Yeah, the resumes here aren't exactly full of success.
