It’s possible. But she would be a great supernatural threat for the team to face. As long as her initial plan is just stopped and she’s not totally defeated, she could be a villain that’s built up into a major threat to the DCU.

I really hope this series is using SHADE as the government organization that handles supernatural stuff. It’s a great concept. Yeah it is basically BPRD but it’s cool to see this in the DCU as the supernatural part of the universe is one of their strengths. A big ironic that David Harbour is playing Frankenstein when he’s also played Hellboy.

Yeah, I don't think Circe would recover if she got beat by the Creature Commandos (let alone how livid WW fans would be).

Aquaman 2 Star Dolph Lundgren Is Disappointed Fans Didn't Get to See Original Cut

Lundgren has previously said that he had a bigger role in the early cut, but he doesn't take it personally that his role was trimmed down, blaming corporate machinations. He said that his reduced role was directly tied to the reduced role for Mera (Amber Heard), since Lundgren was playing Mera's father.

"I just realized that it was some kind of corporate decision that they try to limit Amber Heard and then I'm playing with her dad and went along with it," Lundgren explained. "I was just disappointed for the moviegoers, because I thought the original script was great and the original cut -- I saw a little bit of it, it was really good, so I didn't see any reason to start reshooting and reshaping the story, which obviously led to disappointment in the moviegoers and not just me."

You'd think it would be a no-brainer but Gunn has made some weird choices with Amanda Waller by humiliating her in The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker, before announcing that she will be having her own show in his DC universe. I hope Circe isn't in for a similar treatment.

I'd like to think he knows that people want to see Circe fight Wonder Woman, but we don't even know when we're even going to see Wonder Woman again.

Getting the obligatory whining about cheap horror movies you can ignore out of the way, I don't see why this is bad for anyone unless you're a Warner Bros investor. All of the original creators of these characters are long dead, so it's not like it's harming people who you could actually should benefit financially from still not being PD.

which was a stupid thing to do, Mera is too important in Aquaman story to be reduced as they did. The movie feels like it is missing something from the beginning. It takes a better shape in the 3rd arc just because Mera is more present and saves the day more than once.
Nobody believes that they reduced Heard's time because of bad chemistry with Momoa, any studio would be happy to have bad chemistry and a billion box office.

I don't understand this. When has characters becoming PD ever been kryptonite for a big studio? Everyone benefits from characters becoming PD. They get more use and more brand recognition.
