At this point, that's just a rumor. It essentially started when James Gunn posted a picture of Lobo on some Internet forum, and then some fans on Twitter were basically like "You know who looks like Lobo? Jason Momoa."
I always felt Miller was very talented. You just need to watch We Need To Talk About Kevin and contrast that to their roles in Perks of Being a Wallflower or as Flash to see the range they have. I think people take issue more with the writing of the character and dump those issues on Miller.

On the other hand, you're right that Miller is clearly somebody with deep problems that probably needs serious help rather than headlining a major franchise. Considering that WB apparently considered shelving the movie over their behavior, I doubt they want to roll the dice on them again.

I have nothing against their acting talent, just from a writing and visual perspective they just don't feel like Barry to me...more like some weird hodgepodge of various Flashes together stuck in less than stellar Flash suits.

When most of the old directors are exiting thatís a clear sign where things are headed.
Yes, because franchise films have never changed directors before...

The issue has been the "Snyder Bros/Snyder Cult" they are some of the most Toxic fanbase ever they wish destruction on anything not Snyder even other DC projects and then Snyder fanning the flames with them is what soured many on him.

As for the Rock I don't think any cameos would have saved Black Adam or Shazam, but the ego on that man to think DC films should be centered around him is astounding.
This. They refuse to let it go and will hide behind donations in his daughter's name and what about what is said about Snyder. Folks offered their opinions about him and NEVER went after him to the level John Boyega, Rose Tico, Leslie Jones, Brie Larson, The Rock, Walter Hamada and others.

As for The Rock when your box office says you should have an ego-that happens at times. Now if he wanted a film centered around him-Black Adam would be the LAST person I would have chosen.

Heck pick someone who didn't need 260 million dollar budget. Would Booster Gold or Wildcat or Hawkman work?

I feel that way about the CW guy too, and....well, damn near every larger media version I've seen. New Frontier got Barry pretty well, as I recall. Maybe that WWII era JSA cartoon that came out a couple years ago?

But I see Barry as a fairly quiet, introspective guy, and that doesn't necessarily translate well into film I guess.

Miller's a fantastic actor. But also a train wreck of a human being. Award winning acting is great, but not really *necessary* for action movies. Better to drop them and move on with somebody who can behave in public.
