[Last Son of Krypton]

The Affleck scene is less important. But changing the end scene basically gives a VERY different and much crappier ending to Keaton and Supergirl's storylines. I honestly just prefer the studio alter these things after the fact as little as possible. The story and character arcs are meant to be resolved at the end of the movie in a specific way and changing that to link up to some new thing that didn't even exist when the movie was written just seems like gutting the story. I just want this movie to be good. Leave these versions of the characters as they are and just start over in a new universe. I think fans of Keaton-Batman will be pretty unhappy if they cut out the actual intended ending for the character.

True, but this is just more an ending scene that resolves the fates of the various characters. It obviously is intended to continue from there, but I feel like it also works as an ending for everybody. And there's still Blue Beetle and Aquaman 2 coming out afterward, so I doubt Flash is going to tie into the reboot, especially since I sincerely doubt Gunn is keeping Ezra Miller.

I honestly didn't remember Jimmy even being in the movie. (okay, thinking about it I remembered he was there, but in my mind he looks like Paul Dano (I know it's not))

That's freaking nuts, yeah. From his output that I've seen, I have the utmost faith in his handling of Supe's supporting cast. He seems to handle casts of any size particularly well.

I don't think either it'll tie into anything set in Gunn's new universe. Save for some hypothetical multiversal crossover, lol.

Well we haven’t seen superheroes fighting a dragon before so that’s something new.

I actually like the fact that the family seemingly loses their powers. I’m kinda done with the big Shazamily. I would be happy if the focus was just on Billy and Mary.

We can't have Shazam fight Black Adam, but we can have him fight some random Daughters of Atlas and some non-Monster Society CG monsters. And a dragon. Can't forget about the dragon.

Poor Freddy. Seems like his love interest is part of the bad guys, he loses his powers first, and then he gets kidnapped.

Seems like their solution to the large cast of heroes is just de-powering them until Billy is the only one left. Poor Mary.

It's nice to see the Wizard getting more screentime and interacting with everybody.

Looks like a relatively solid and fun film, if nothing else.

I would agree except I really like Freddy, too. But outside of those three, I'm not really into the Shazamily.
