Like Legion, I have recently started reading the Daredevil by Miller omnibus. Wasn't too fussed about the McKenzie issues, but - WOW! - what a shift in tone once Miller takes over! I usually get worn out very quickly with older comics but find I can easily read 4 or 5 issues of this without getting bored. Gripping, dark, thrilling... some of the best comics I've read.

I don't think it would be wrong to say Miller's Daredevil is the line between old comics and new comics.

I just don't get the Omnibus with 1 and incomlete stories! I love kirby but not even him would get me to buy a incomplete stories omni!

I'm a freaky completist and this may be the first Omni I pass on unless I can get it for $20 at some point down the road. Random '90's characters first appearances is not my cup of tea.

Depends upon why you want it, and how bad you want it.

If you want to read the stories, and want to read them now, then yes.

If you can get it considerably cheaper than a new one, yes.

That 90s Firsts Omni looks awful......but it has Warlock and the Infinity Watch #1 which is the actual epilogue to Infinity Gauntlet and was missed from the IG Omni......so I might get it if I can get it really cheap (in the UK, that's pretty much impossible, but still).

But you can ALWAYS rearrange your shelf collection.

I think it all depends upon if he wants to read the stories right now.

Maybe I'm just slumming with my collection. hahaha. I'm still in the beginning stages, so my shelves are not quite pretty yet, so something like this wouldn't bother me if I really wanted to read those stories right now.

I'd love to get a little more into Deadpool. Would the Joe Kelly omni or the Cable & Deadpool omni be a better buy?

I like Cable&Deadpool more but I guess Kelly's run is a better starting point (and it's very good too).

You're just like me. But what would you do if something happens to the dustjacket, like get torn or bent? I *almost* had this problem with one of my books, but after some ironing, I was able to subdue the bend. That was a nightmare scenario for a while though.
