nope, that place is kinda depressing. Tons of floppies everywhere, lying on the floor in chaos. Strange that a city with a nice comicbook history only has one, not so impressive store.

Anyone get the Fraction FF omni? If so, I'd love to see some pics (if you've got the time and inclination).

when I was there in Agust they barely had tpb-s, let alone hardcovers. Didn't have the desire to go back since then.

Man, the French know how to do comics right. I visited some French comic shops today and I gotta say, they love their Marvel superheros. But since European albums are much bigger than US comics, so are their collections of Marvel comics. Even the TPBs (similar to epic collections content wise) are at least the size of an omnibus, if not bigger. And the most beautiful book I've seen was a 14" x 10" HC of Jack Kirby's Captain America: Bicentennial Battles. Looks awesome (sadly I couldn't find any pictures online).

What? They don't have camera phones in Europe?

Good call. Yeah, could've done that. But I thought that at least the publisher would have some pics online. Oh, and I guess you'd like to know that the paper looks much thicker than the one Marvel currently uses.

    You mean this one?

(Too big a picture to post here)

Yeah, that's the one. There's still no inside pics, though.

Btw, love the "understatement" cover. You wouldn't see something like that from Marvel US.

You can look around quite a few of the Parisian comic book shops using Google 'look inside' street view thing.

Pulp Comics (images circa 2011) has so many now rare omnibus volumes on the shelf it makes me want to get get on the Eurostar (and likely travel backwards through time as I doubt they are still there)

That cover looks cool. I'm sure LJ is right about the paper being much thicker. ;-)

Here's what seems to be the actual cover under the dust jacket.

Yeah, when I was there in the summer I must've been in 5 comic stores, couldn't find anything particularly rare. The one book I did notice was Nova OHC.

Has anyone read the Hickman FF omnibuses? I want to read everything Inhumans related, but I don't really care for the fantastic four.

Are the Inhumans in those two omnibuses enough to make a purchase worthwhile?
