Taking it seriously, I can imagine with Peter legitimately being an orphan in that case, he probably winds up getting taken in by the Watsons.

On a slightly related note, what if Aunt May died instead of Uncle Ben?

This has gotten two different one shots in the past, but I think it would be nice to see it actually fleshed out in a mini/au. A lot of early stress for Peter was him trying to become a breadwinner because his fragile aunt was out of work and he was constantly in fear that his secret identity getting exposed would be too much for her health. I don't think either would be as much of a factor for Uncle Ben.

No, they weren't married. Harry was too high on drugs all the time and she would just party until dawn, at least until the real Gwen died, at which point she ended up marrying Peter somewhere down the line before 1984.
