My vote would have gone to Nschornhorst. I'll have a new contest up in a few hours!
    Thanks again!
I am so glad it went well. Hope your recovery is smooth and successful.
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?

Thanks, Cap! I'm slowly getting back into the internetz.

And thank you for the votes CaptainEurope and Scott Taylor. Can you believe Blevins painted that awesome Inhumans GN cover? A beautiful cover, but also so chilling.
Its a very striking cover that won me over at first look. Painted covers for ya.

Thank you for the vote. Snarfquest appeared in Dragon Magazine during the 80's and 90's. Then the artist did one last graphic novel like 10 years later. It is getting over the 10 year mark, but I'm still hoping he does one more.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Not sure Elmore is interested. He "retired" last year to paint what he wants to paint rather than do commercial art. He is still earning a living selling prints and books of his previous work through his website, but isn't taking on any new professional work.

Snarfquest did come back for a brief run in Knights of the Dinner Table #195-207.
