It’s adding another issue, not having an artist replace Burnham, we should be ok. With Burnham you can never be sure though . Least they’re self aware enough to not try an ongoing with him.

I really like the “superhero first responders” concept. If the Justice League are the police that arrive at the scene, the Doom Patrol are social services.

A meta human may be lashing out because they’re in pain or unable to control their powers. The Doom Patrol is there to help them cope with their new abilities.
