Default Batman/Spawn and math is hard for CBR

Nearly 20 years after their first encounter Batman and Spawn cross paths once again to face off against their pasts in Batman Spawn #1....The first time these characters met was nearly 20 years ago .

    2022-1994= 28.

Seriously, when a review gets something this basic wrong, twice, one has to question what else it was sloppy about.

I don't trust the main page to get anything right anymore.

For Pete's Sake, they're writers, not mathematicians!

Mathematicians are bad at simple arithmetic, they're too focused on the abstract stuff.

For some reason, I pictured Dr. Leonard McCoy saying that.

I'm pretty sure it's a a typo and the writer meant to type 30 years. Regardless quality control isn't something CBR has been known for in quite some time.

The real question is why no one has corrected the mistake days later. It's such an easy thing for either an editor or the writer to go in and change the 2 to a 3. For most publications it would be considered slow for it to take even 1 hour to correct this kind of mistake after first being called out, but CBR is sticking to its guns 3 days later?

The embarrassing errors continue, from another article:
“It would be amazing to have Batman meet up with the actual Sherlock Holmes…”

Detective Comics. Issue 572. Took ten seconds to google.

Come on, CBR, no professional trade publication would allow basic errors about the very subject they’re covering.

People actually read CBR articles? I mean most of them are inaccurate and clickbaity as hell. If I want comic facts and such, I'll come to the forums. *shrug*
