So apparently the "Kent" farmhouse used on the show has now been torn down:

Guess it's safe to say they aren't coming back to Smallville.

Heh not for me, hope this means they’re moving back to Metropolis for the final season.

Well, I'm down for that too, but it feels like we made so many memories with that house...

If they "kill" Clark after the Doomsday cliffhanger that provides a pretty easy transition for Lois and the kids back to Metropolis. Given how they tend to subvert expectations in this series, I don't think they will actually kill him but I think it is probably cheaper to film external shots in Vancouver as a stand in for Metropolis than to maintain all those Smallville sets.

Yeah I think he’ll be in a coma for a few episodes at least. That also helps cut down on the budget since they won’t need to do “Superman” scenes.

According to the article, the town sets are now behind a giant fence. This is going to be awkward considering the fact that the last season ended with them at the farmhouse.

The way they framed the cliffhanger and the fight I definitely don't see Clark severely dying but it might drain him one way or another to the point where he won't be operating at 100% for the first half of the season.

Apparently, Sam Lane may be returning for two episodes in Season 4 after all.

    Good if true.

Grandpa Lane needs to be in the season 4 premiere at the very least, and hopefully in the series finale as well.

I'm glad they're not just offing him off-screen.

I think the other cut cast members (John Henry, Lana, Sarah, Kyle, etc) will likely also return for 2 or max 3 episodes in Season 4. Most likely the season premiere and the series finale and maybe 1 more episode in-between.

Anyone know when SAL begins shooting?

Hollywood is shut down for the holidays so not until Jan. S4 is said to debut some time in the summer.

Hmmm maybe they’ll have Sam die and do a parallel to the series opening. S&L starts with Clark burning his mom and ends with Lois burying her dad.

Currently, Superman & Lois Season 4 is scheduled to begin filming on Thursday, January 11, 2024 and it will end on April 22. This is, of course, the final season of the popular series, and those dates are always subject to change. A premiere date for Superman & Lois Season 4 is not yet announced, though we are assuming it will air Summer 2024 at the soonest.

In addition to the filming dates, KryptonSite has learned that Gregory Smith is scheduled to be directing the Season 4 premiere. Gregory Smith was the director for the most recent season finale, so he’s a great choice to helm whatever is coming next.

The cast list for Superman & Lois Season 4 is a bit shorter than previous years, as many of the series regulars have been let go due to budget considerations. With that said, many of those who have departed are expected to show up as guest stars in the ten-episode season. Currently, the fourth season will star Tyler Hoechlin (Clark/Superman), Elizabeth Tulloch (Lois Lane), Alex Garfin (Jordan Kent), Michael Bishop (Jonathan Kent), and Michael Cudlitz (Lex Luthor).

Back to work! This is part of Lois’s wardrobe. It’s massive. We have such a terrific costume department. #supermanandlois
