Yeah even though I think this is a top 3 Superman adaptation for me; definitely ready for it to wrap up hopefully on a strong note. Very much ready for the presumably much less grounded movie reboot incoming after.

Yeah, if they make a memorable final season/finale it will be all the more memorable in hindsight. A good ending is key to any story.

Superman & Lois’ incarnation of Jimmy is an extroverted 20-something known for being the “life of the party” around the office. “Despite being work colleagues with Clark, he’s been unable to get him out of his ‘awkward’ shell,” according to Jimmy’s official description. “Unaware of Clark’s super-secret, Jimmy’s still determined to become his pal.”

The actor looks the part. The work colleague part makes me think more flashbacks to Superman’s early days maybe?

He’s old enough that he could be playing the character in the present day. My hunch is that the Kents are moving back to Metropolis for the final season, maybe Jimmy has become the new editor in chief of the Planet since they left.

He was a good fit for a CW show aimed at teens where everyone has relationship drama with everyone else. But for this show you can have a more straightforward dorky Jimmy rather than a teen hunk.

Well, yeah, in terms of being attractive guy who hooks up with other people (if not executed well) even if the writers obviously had no idea what to do with him.
