On the topic of animated robots, the last few episodes of "G Gundam" have several scenes of various Gundams massing for battle.

Despite them being from another universe, In a few shots you can see the original Gundam, the Gundam 0083 Gundams, the Gundam F91, and in a "sneak peak" at the next series, the Wing Gundam.

The second opening also has a man in a Star Trek TNG uniform, which I think was the producer or director (A big Trekkie).

What about Halle Berry in James Bond. The scene were she comes out of the water. At the time it was pretty hot.

Think the scene is kind of partly in slow motion already.

It's a tribute of sorts to Ursula Andress in Dr.No -Halle's swimsuit is similar, complete with the belt and knife.

There's another scene where she escapes from the clinic island but it's kind of in front of some noticeable blue screen and then a CG 'stunt'.

Daniel Craig does a male version in "Casino Royale".

For men, I would imagine it is Jamie Lee Curtis' dancing scene in True Lies.

For women, probably a scene out of Magic Mike.

Since women outnumber men, I'll roll with Magic Mike getting more overall pauses.

Do gay people not exist in this scenario?

Jamie Lee Curtis, it's Trading Places.

I would assume they do for both movies, which would sort of even things out.

Speaking of Bond the series has had a habit since SPY WHO LOVED Me of having producer Michael G WIlson (Cubby Brocolli's stepson) appear in almost every film. Some he's just in crowd shots, but others basically scream it at the audience, like him getting arrested in CASINO ROYALE or being one of Carver's division heads in TOMMOROW NEVER DIES.

Ocassionally former Bond actresses have small roles, Diana Hartford was in a small role in THUNDERBALL and is a poker player at the beach club early in CASINO ROYALE. Tsai Chin was Ling in YOLT but also shows up a few times in CASINO ROYALE, on Le Chiffre's boat and later at the main game. Although given her big career it might not have been an intentional cameo.

Anybody mention the Stormtrooper hitting his head in STAR WARS?

A Clockwork Orange - virtually, any scene can be chosen (IMHO):

Depends on the percentage of gay men vs gay women, no? Because if it's about the same percentage and by your line of reasoning, women outnumber men, so... wouldn't the answer be the opposite?

Yes, it would depend on the percentage of the population that is homosexual. Is it enough to tip things like that? Maybe.

Presumably, men are more visual when it comes to sexual triggers, so maybe gay men pause more than gay women?

First thing I thought of when I saw the thread title.

I remember breaking the tape (yes, it was a VHS tape) from pausing it too long. It was a rental and I had to pay the store for the broken tape.

Every boy I knew loved that scene. We used to call her Phoebe Cakes. LOL
