Very much liked Lois in "Waller vs Wildstorm". Endearingly unafraid to speak her mind but also sabotaging herself in that way.

She really does feel like a natural fit in these sort of stories , doesn't she? Whereas Clark could be here, but he'd need to be a very minor character or he'd take over the entire story. And Jimmy would just be weird.

Speaking of weird, it is utterly bizarre to see Steve as the experienced editor to rookie Lois. Not that I'm complaining, I love me some Steve.

Four of them have already played superheroes - Lana Condor was Jubilee in X-Men: Apocalypse, Chloe Bennet was Quake in Agents of SHIELD and also one of the Powerpuff Girls in a pilot for a series that never got made, Naomi Scott was Pink Ranger in the 2017 Power Rangers movie, and Hailee Steinfeld is Hawkeye (in the Disney+ series) and Spider-Gwen (in the Spider-verse animated movies).

Only Hailee Steinfeld is currently playing a superhero. The fact that they've played a superhero in a different universe doesn't necessarily mean they can't be in the DCU.
