I’m getting the vibe that Sasha Calle will be recast. The real question is: will they hire another actress of color? They really hyped up the latina representation angle with Sasha’s casting announcement, so it will feel very sus if WB replaces her with a blonde, white girl.

Supergirl should be blonde, but that's an easy fix. I've only seen a bit of Calle on Young & the Restless. Not sure she has the chops to star in her own film.

Yeah, that’s pretty telling from DC brass. Sad indeed.

Was just about to share this, I think there’s a very good chance we will get another Supergirl mini or ongoing by the end of 2023 or the start of 2024.

Here’s to hoping. Maybe the new announcements will help drum up some interest. Strike while the proverbial iron is hot.

Those were done under the Black Label. Supergirl was overseen by the Superman editorial. It's why the head Superman editor is credited. I think it's pretty clear by now that Black Label has most of the few remaining people who were Tom King supporters at DC and they have more latitude there even post-Batdick.

As someone who wasn't a fan of Woman of Tomorrow, if Tom King coming back is what it takes for her to get a solo book that sells again, then bring it on Tommy.

Of course, this assumed the sequel doesn't come back in like, 2028 for perfect synergy
