The blue scars/lines she had at the end of the second episode point in that direction too. Since she can throw cars around it looks like her powers are electromagnetism based which is welcome news to me, makes her more of a serious threat.

yeah, I don't really like any of them, certain aspects are good, but you'd have to mix and match them pretty heavily... and even then it's a drastic redesign.

The showrunners want to keep Supes strictly scifi, so maybe we will get metas but they said no magic.
