He was basically the son of Superman and Lois Lane. That is the basis of the character, his origin. There had been several other variants of the "son of Superman" very different. There was an elseworld called son of Superman. Pretty nice.

    Yeah, that actually works.

X is different now because was replaced by an alternate universe version....
Stop assuming someone can't be queer just because they dated the opposite sex once.

heh, as if that's actually important.

No the important part is that whether Conner is bi is irrelevant unless you're actually going to use it in a story. Which you won't as long as he's in a monogamous relationship.

I love consistency and the Dreamer becoming one of Jon's best friends has been great

The original Superman Secundus isn't from the All-Star Superman universe.

The question does specifically ask about Grant Morrison Superman continuity.
Who is the original Superman Secondus?

DC One Million showed him in flashbacks I believe.

In terms of storytelling, yes we can assume that. If you're going to change a character's sexuality, there should be something there to work off, not just some interpretation or "headcanon". 1

You don't cancel, re-title, and make it into a solo if it sold well.

    Actually you can.

We saw DC and Marvel stop books for a restart of all titles like we saw with New 52 and post Secret Wars.

It depends on a few factors.

Like how long you originally planned the run (since some don't want mini series labeled on the book) as we saw with Milestone and even Wildstorm.

And we have had books that sold restart again.

Miles Morales had done that and none of his runs have ever sniffed below 20K.
Black Panther did it to as the for Coates run was doing well before the new volume.
    She Hulk did it.
Aquaman sort of did it in the 90s.

And may I remind everyone books that sold well get AXED too. Green Lantern Mosaic says hi. It sold and editorial axed it and it had nothing to do with Hal going Nuts.
Burnside Batgirl sold and editorial ran off that creative team.
Green Lantern Corps got axed as it was selling as did it's follow up Lost Army.

There are politics behind the scenes that screw over books.
