Now that I think about it, considering Superman Blue's thing is turning into an energy being.

This creates another potential work-around to de-aging him if they want.

Waid and Yang are not credited as writers in Assualt on Krypton. They are seemingly only writing the Alpha and the Omega issue.

The writers for that issue are Leah Williams, Frank Barberi, CS Pacat and Nicole Maines. Out of these, I'd say the one likely writing the Jon story is CS Pacat because she is friends with Taylor and she was written back-up stories in his comics before.

I forgot who theorized Damian may forget Jon but after reading Batman today I don’t think Damian would be unable to remember if both Dick Grayson and Tim Drake can.

It was specifically said that the Titans, like the Justice League, will remember Superman's secret identity due to Martian Manhunter. Dick, Tim and Damian have all been Titans.

Yes, I think whatever happens with Jon will be more important than just being in one of the one shots. Waid actually said in a new interview today one of the biggest changes in the event will be happens to Jon Kent and the Superman group have big plans for it.
