They’re both going to be in the Brainiac event at least. Maybe they’ll get some cool moments under Williamson. Do think that if DC is planning any more Super minis one of them should be a Kon and Kenan duo book.

I absolutely loved the back up!

It makes sense in the issue!

Totally makes sense that Yang would go that route, the original NSM series tackled all kinds of Chinese stereotypes, but it’s handled well in the backup itself. He’s investigating a murder that one of the Supers might be responsible for.



Great to see he still has that cockiness to him . Oh and I did not expect Yang of all people to tie into the events of Action 1050.



Excellent approach though! Kenan was previously on the outskirts of the Family, so he didn’t get to retain the knowledge of Clark’s identity like the rest did. Kon wouldn’t even trust Kenan with his secret identity yet. By the end he’ll be accepted and included, and I guess the teases we saw previously are of Kenan in the afterlife.

The problem was that Kenan wasn't ever in a team with a psychic (like Martian Manhunter, Miss Martian, or Omen), so he doesn't have the defences. Conner's going to need Megan's help to prevent a repeat of what happened here.

Shame too, I bet we could’ve gotten some funny interactions out of that from Yang if he had been given the opportunity. Kenan probably would have been annoyed because he did it first and accused Kal of cribbing his style
