What is the correct reading order for Snyder Batman?

    I have it as:

    New52 run
    All Star
    Metal event
    Justice League
    Batman Who Laughs mini
    Williamson's BWL arc of Batman/Superman
    Death Metal

Are certain arcs meant to be read inbetween other arcs (like Williamson's arc is meant to be sometime during Snyder's JL)?

    Thanks.

Batman: The Black Mirror and Batman: Gates of Gotham before The New 52. Batman: The Black Mirror is by far Scott Snyder's best Batman story. It's one of the best Batman books ever.

Halfway through the New 52, you need to read Twenty-Seven which was in a special Detective Comics issue marking 75 Years of Batman.

    Hope this helps!

Assume that Tec story is in one of the omnis?

What about the No Justice mini that preceded Snyder's JL?

Where should the BWL mini with Jock and the BWL arc by Williamson be inserted?

Oh yes, thanks. I believe that's in the 2nd New52 Batman omni.

Michael Keaton back as Bruce Wayne/Barman for the first time in 31 years!

    The different Batsuits.

Batman 66, Batman 89, Batman Returns and Batman: The Animated Series are the biggest reasons as to why I'm a Batman fan.

For the upcoming Batman & Robin movie under the Gunn umbrella I propose Alan Ritchson as Batman. Not that I m a fan of Reacher but he s essentially Sherlock Holmes brain in Conan the Cimmerian s body. A description for many versions of Bruce/Batman and especially Morrison s Batman

    Pre New 52 Reboot:
    Batman Black Mirror
    Batman Gates of Gotham

    New 52 Reboot
    (Chronologically: Origin - New 52 Vol. 4-5)
    New 52 Vol. 1-3
(Event Backstory: Batman Incorporated Vol. 1-2 by Grant Morrison + Forever Evil by Geoff Johns)
    Batman Eternal + New 52 Vol. 6
(Extra Backstory: Batman and Robin: Robin Rises)
    New 52 Vol. 7-final

Rebirth Era - Road to reboot but still in New 52 continuity
(Interlude Backstory: DC Universe Rebirth #1 + Batman Rebirth #1 by Tom King)
    All-Star Batman (all volume)
    Dark Days: Road to Metal
Dark Nights Metal + Dark Knights Rises

DC Universe Era - Superman half rebooted the continuity then Dr. Manhattan rebooted the other half, but Batman Who Laugh's attack on time itself left the chronology and continuity a jumbled mess
    No Justice
    Justice League Vol. 1-4
    Batman Who Laughs
(Context Backstory: Batman/Superman Vol. 1-2 by Joshua Williamson
Year of The Villain: The Infected
Year of The Villain: Hell Arisen)
    Justice League Vol. 5
Dark Nights Death Metal + The Darkest Knights + War of The Multiverses + The Multiverse Who Laughs

(This whole thing would've been much easier to explain with a flowchart)
(Batman Who Laughs post Dark Nights Metal = Justice League Vol. 1-2 > Batman Who Laughs > Batman/Superman Vol. 1-2 > The Infected > Hell Arisen > Justice League Vol. 5 > Death Metal)
(Optional Dr. Manhattan and Wally West story path = DC Universe Rebirth #1 > Titans Rebirth Vol. 1 > The Button > Flash War > Heroes in Crisis > Doomsday Clock (continuity mess) > Flash Forward > Death Metal)

Batman The Last Knight on Earth is out of main continuity set in the far future
