"The Enigma Force is not a tool to be manipulated by mortals. The Enigma Force comes to those it deems worthy. What temerity, what arrogance, makes you think you are worthy? Have you not all made mistakes? Unforgiveable ones?" - Captain Universe
"Call me an Avenging Angel, Baron, come to safeguard Earth...call me CAPTAIN UNIVERSE!" - Ray Coffin
"You're my heart, Mary Jane Watson...you're my jackpot." - Peter Parker
Manga I believe is generally printed on low quality paper and available in most bookshops. Comics used to be cheap and distributed through any outlet that sold monthly or weekly periodicals. The superhero comics industry sold its soul when it changed to distributing expensive comics through specialist outlets.
Moral: do not make deals with the devil.

Mangaverse! With cyborg Black Cat and Spider-Woman MJ! And ninja Spider-Man!
Thanks for sharing.
Preach it. The real problem with comics vs. manga is the lack of accessibility thanks to exactly what you said, distributing increasingly expensive comics through specialists that are hard to reach or even locate for the average person.
If it were to be revived, I'd like to see it done with actual Japanese creative talent --- whether from manga/anime or even tokusatsu (special effects-driven live-action series) --- for more authenticity's sake, not to mention acknowledging and addressing that the popular anime of the 2020s is rather different from the 2000s.
Would be interesting, though I'm more into Yusuke Murata from One-Punch Man. He's even done variant covers for actual Spider-Man comics. Speaking of Spider-Man as a manga, I'm hoping that the North American release of Fake Red coming this summer inspires a continuation or sequel from the mangaka.
The spider is always on the hunt.
