Following November’s SCARLET WITCH #10, Steve Orlando’s current ongoing SCARLET WITCH series will evolve in a fascinating way this January, before ultimately returning later next year! In a few weeks, fans will discover Marvel’s exciting plans for the iconic Wanda Maximoff, but in the meantime, her coven of fans can get a sneak peek at the epic season finale of her current era!

"SCARLET WITCH has been the gig of a lifetime—one that's challenged me, surprised me, and brought me together with some of the greatest collaborators I've ever been lucky enough to work with," Orlando shared. "And we're far from done—I can't wait for folks to see what we've been conjuring up next, something that celebrates a massive milestone for Wanda and her family, and explodes this current season up into something gonzo, blockbuster, and bursting with power. Wanda will return stronger, bolder, and more powerful than ever—and not alone!"

Was about to post that too. I expected a status quo change of some kind so Im not too surprised about that. Info in few weeks obviously means we are getting an announcement at NYCC. The wording here is also very interesting.

"something that celebrates a massive milestone for Wanda and her family" "Wanda will return stronger, bolder, and more powerful than ever—and not alone!"

This already has been teased for January. Coincidence? Guess we will find out in a few weeks.

Better than being canceled, I guess, but getting Wanda drawn too deep into Magneto-land bothers me a little, though other fans are bothered by it more (and some less). The most interesting part of her relationship with Magneto is that she hates his guts, while when this series drops references to Magneto it makes it sound like she doesn't.

That said I'd be fine seeing her in "Resurrection of Magneto" and hope she is (it doesn't always happen; remember when Ewing had to write a whole Billy/Teddy event without Wanda and Vision?).

Anyway, on a positive note, I appreciate how this series has held the line on making Wanda an unambiguous hero (so far) at a time post-Multiverse of Madness when Wanda fans really needed to see her that way. For all its flaws it healed me a little.

The Magneto stuff depends on how they handle it. Don't delete her biological family for it. Don't erase all that Mags did do. Create an actual path for forgiveness without erasure.

I'm glad that her book is not being cancelled. I hope some people she did always have a real connection to appear in the next volume.

She and Maggie had a really beautyfull reconnecting scene at the end of the first HFG before she got "killed" and Shitferno happened. And I actually liked that scene where Storm guest-starred and spoke of Maggie's death. I think she and Pietro have long grown emotionally beyond any animousity towards Max and the past.

I love that it's continuing and that Orlando will be pushing her even further.

And we are officially her Coven.
Krakoa and Planet Arakko...TO BE CONTINUED. FOREVER!!! Al Ewing is GOD...Praise His name! Uplift Him in song! Glorify His works!

The problem with that scene is she goes from adamantly hating him before and never wanting anything to do with him again, to suddenly trusting, hugging and working with him.

Parts of me kinda want to see Wanda put in one of her old costumes again and have all the cringey lines in the world to say in this RoM event.
Hamster Wanda is annoying sure and genuinely hilarious to watch lol.
Otherwise I just want to see where she is going in the Avengers run and post-issue 10.

The Asgardian costume would've made a lot more sense for Billy. Like I was happy to see him with his most famous costume obviously, but his was the only one that didn't have any explanation whatsoever (arguably Vision too but in his case I think you can easily interpret it as just a "cheap halloween costume" version of his actual costume).
While it obviously made a lot of sense to pair Wandas with Visions classic costume, Wanda herself still refers to the look as that of a Sokovian fortune teller. Sokovia is obviously a fictional country but I would really like to see the fortune teller who really dresses up like that.

As for Billy. I guess it depends on how you look at it. You as the audience know that Thor and the Asgardians exist in the world but nothing in the show itself shows that Billy knows about them and even is a fan of them.

That's just how it goes. Im really into cars too and it's the same there. Cars that weren't seen as anything special back then are now worth a fortune. Also owning certain cars just means that you will have a pay a premium for basically everything because people know that the owners are so passionate that they will pay it anyway.

I agree and I wonder if anything surrounding Joseph will have part in it.

I also love we being her coven. It really encapsulates the fanbase perfectly and our relationship to the queen.
