I hope he has settled in enough to start writing long term storylines. While I have very much enjoyed these one offs, quirky, stories, I hope he now has freedom to tell long reaching story arcs. So far there has been no indication of an overarcing story theme. If his niche is short story, I don't think his FF is for us in the long run.

Yes, I wonder this too. I love the zany and occasionally frightening.
I will accept the art, it is not the worst, but seems just slightly a little less mature.

I would love longer stories because although some of you may not agree, as one of the longest long-time readers of the FF, I really dug the stories where they adventured into space for longer periods (notably the Andromeda Galactic war after # 200 or so) or the various fights with other teams.

I'd love to finally see a real devastating battle, even if it's not a team. The Battle for the Baxter Building was very epic but so too was the battle with Terrax years later (John Byrne). So devastating. I could go on.
