They look like child's drawings! I guess that's why he's a writer and not an artist, lol.

That's the "bit" that King has become known for at conventions the past few years. Fans bring him blank variant covers and he does goofy stick figure drawings on them, always signed with "I'm sorry" and his name.

Dan Mora is the best thing to happen to DC art in quite some time.

Dan Mora is just freaking GOLD. Between him, Bruno Redondo and Javier Jimenez DC has some of the best artists right now. If I had a dream book for Dan to draw, I think it would be the Legion of Super-Heroes. he would be perfect on that book!

He'll be know as an all-time great, for sure! The variant is very much in spirit of this stunning Jimmy Olsen page from World's Finest #13.

I bet that was originally planned to be a variant cover too that they repurposed for an interior page.

Jorge Jimenez is the one doing Batman.
Javier Fernandez is the one that used to draw Nightwing.

But yeah, Dan Mora, Bruno Redondo e Jorge Jimenez are some of the best DC has to offer.

I still don't know how Dan Mora draws so much stuff at the same time.

I don't think I've seen any artist able to pull off as much simultaneous work as Mora does.

I know he did it on Twitter as a joke but I didn't know he did it in cons too

His work is good but clear, not much little detail inside. He doesn't detail everything like say, Jim Lee, Fabok, Eddy Barrows and David Finch. Those ones, when they draw, they don't just draw the outer line art and let digital coloring or large blacks do the shading, they cross hatch the shading with their pencil. The muscles detailed. The background, the brick walls detailed with hand drawn textures.

Mora draws the large outline, maybe a little bit of hatching here and there but not as many as Lee and Finch. Just enough to give an impression. Much more minimalistic, focusing on the essentials
