Everything I don't like was rewritten by editors.

"I don't understand how editorial works or how events always have more editorial attention" - you for the umpteenth time.

And frankly I don't even like Williamson, but trying to claim editorial didn't have a hand in it or that there wasn't rewrites is absurd.

Dark Crisis was pretty bad but events always have a lot of editorial interference.

It's pretty hard not to name a Crisis that didn't have editorial control:
CoiE - Jenette Kahn directed
Zero Hour - JSA deaths were done because of Mike Carlin
Identity Crisis - Sue Dibny's rape by Dr. Light also by Mike Carlin
Infinite Crisis - whole thing was Didio's brainchild
Final Crisis - return of Barry Allen
Heroes in Crisis - not touching this one

I would rather read Williamson writing some Blockbuster JL like Geoff in new52 than Taylor and King takes.
Taylor barely finished an story arc and the villain introduced in the issue 77-80 is still there and barely fough Dick, and as strong as his run is, outside Wally, his relationship with the other Titans member are barely there.
And King , well he is good but I felt he is gonna try : 1-Tower of Babel 2.0 . 2-Harley Quinn or Catwoman PIS feats 3- Some schism between the team (I can see him making Barry a republican again to have fights with Green Arrow like O'neil did just to have drama).
Waid evolving World Finnest concept to Justice league or something like Robinson JLA would still be the best option

Taylor on JL would be awful. We’d get a boring “wholesome” rehash of the DCAU at best and Injustice Lite at worst. He’s got a formula he’s been using since Injustice that he’s ridden straight into the ground by doing it over and over again. Taylor JL is bound to happen eventually but shout out to the Titans for finally making themselves useful and being Taylor’s containment book for now.

I think he's a much better fit for the Titans than the JL.

I wouldn't be against Taylor on JL. Hot take but I think Injustice Year One is the best thing Taylor has ever written (I haven't read his Wolverine). Really the only thing that would worry me is his portrayal of Wonder Woman but it's more likely he would try to overcompensate.

That being said I don't think he will take over JL anytime soon. He has already written these characters a lot and he is doing a Titans book where the premise is "they are the JL now". Dunno how long his exclusive contract is, but I think he is more likely to take over Batman whenever Zdarsky leaves (which will probably take a while).

Williamson needs no help from editors in being the most boring writer DC has. He’s written an enormous amount of stuff for them—can’t blame every bit of it on the various editors he’s had. Editorial does deserve a lot of blame for his deadly wok but that’s just because they keep giving him work.

He can put out bad work.

He can put out good work that gets derailed by editors.

He can do good and bad work that is derailed by editors.

He can do bad work that is SAVED by a competent editor.

It's always going to be a combination of things. Especially when you deal with certain characters. What he can get away with on say Lobo might not cut it with Flash.

He can be the most boring writer at DC and gets tons of work. Why??? Because we as FANS refuse to give new blood a shot. With many cases the new blood can't even get a preview out without calls for them to be fired.

So he, Bendis, Lobdell and others will get the bulk of the work because DC knows no matter how bad they can be-as long as its on certain titles-they can get away with it.

And no I am not defending the man as I have never read any of his work.

I think the only thing of note Diana did in that book was get punked by Harley like the rest of the Trinity did.
