Uh-huh. Hell, a similar issue exists with Peter Parker/Spider-Man as well, since he did start as a teenager while most of the other superheroes of the time (except for the original X-Men and the Fantastic Four's Human Torch) were already adults, and even then, he was accomplishing more with a lot less going for him, comparatively speaking. Of course, Marvel has seen fit in more recent years to downgrade Peter in terms of overall competence and maturity as a hero, so making Miles out to be less experienced than he actually is . . . may be par for the course, sadly.

To be fair, the same goes for Johnny and Bobby too (the other X-Men don't suffer from it though, but Iceman is the youngest of the O5).

The part about being more experience than some older heroes is something that really needs to be remembered, just because some heroes have been around longer doesn't mean they've managed to accomplished much. Not mention he's definitely one of, if not the most, experienced heroes in his generation. (depending on who you consider part of it) It wasn't too long ago he took on the more experienced hero role for the new Darkhawk and it wasn't portrayed as if it was something he struggled to do.

THIS, is part of the reason why I lost it when he wasn't made leader on the Champions team. Miles had way more experience and smarts than the other heroes. He just made the most sense, in addition to having the highest profile at the time.

Ah. Ok, then. And yeah, I remember. Infinite Destinies, kind of like Acts of Vengeance, but centered around the Infinity Stones and their mortal hosts.

Would be cool to see him officially take on Miles in terms of art and maybe writing, since he is apparently writing as well as drawing his take on the Future Shock episode of Static Shock where Static goes into the future and teams up with Terry McGinnis from Batman Beyond . . . only it'll be the experienced adult Static from Terry's era that takes part in the plot.
